Description

Synopsis: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment and expertise necessary to complete repair of three Caterpillar Diesel Generators and supporting switch gear in accordance with contract specifications, located at the Federal Detention Center located at Brooklyn, New York, Kings county. A firm fixed-price contract award is anticipated with a completion period of 56 calendar days. The requirement is open to small businesses and large businesses, all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote that will be considered for award. Estimated price magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Security investigations/clearances are required. Solicitation number is RFQ 21451-019. The solicitation will be available on or after January 04, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
