The purpose of this modification is to advise that it is anticipated that solicitation N00140-01-R-G605 for the Facsimile Drill Rifles for the NJROTC Program (CNET OTEJ) will be posted to the FED BIZ OPPS web address at www.fedbizopps.gov and the FISC Norfolk web address at www.nor.fisc.navy.mil following the pre-solicitation conference to be held on 13 December 2001 at 10:00 am at FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. Attendees must submit name of attendee(s) and name of company by Noon EST 3 days before the date of the conference and may be submitted upon receipt of this notice. The number of attendees shall be no greater than two (2) per company. Information should be submitted to FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Avenue, Building 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, Attn: Allison K. Baten, Code 02P21X, FAX: (215) 697-5418, E-mail: Allison_K_Baten@phil.fisc.navy.mil. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. The draft SOW may be requested by calling or e-mailing the request to Allison K. Baten. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to Rocco D. Siravo, Contracting Officer, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Bldg. 2B, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083 by 11 December 2001. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-solicitation conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this procurement and to receive industry comments/questions on the draft SOW. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. This requirement was originally synopsized on 4 September 2001 by submission number 50W6K5.
