Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) Services for male and female offenders in the Lexington, Kentucky area. Location of the facilities shall be within Fayette County, Kentucky. Residential CCC services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC) dated November 2001. A firm fixed price indefinite quantity requirements type contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 90% male and 10% female. The estiamted number of inmate days for CCC services are 17,500 inmate days for the two-year base period, and 8,750 inmate days for Option Years One, Two, and Three. The solicitation will be available on or about January 4, 2002, and will be distributed solely thro9ugh the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
