Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Solicitation incorporates by reference FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-3 and 52.212-5. 1. Contractor will provide one (1) repackaging machine that meets or exceeds all GMP standards. 2. Requirement is machine must fill 40 bottles per minute. 3. Requirement is that this machine comes equipped with a vibratory tablet counting machine that has a multi channel feeder with vibrating speed controls with an accuracy of count at less than 1% error rate. The counting machine must be capable of storing up to 1000 different drugs and Pack sizes or runs. 4. Requirement is that this machine should have a bottle label detection system. This system verifies a label is present on a bottle as it is moving on the conveyor. 5. Requirement is that this machine comes equipped with a bottle unscramble. Must have minimal to no changeover for the different bottle sizes and have variable speed controls. 6. Requirement is this machine must come equipped with an automated bottle capper that needs no changeover parts when working with different size bottle caps. 7. Requirement is the machine must come with an automatic heat induction cap foil sealer. 8. Requirement is the machine must come equipped with a wrap labeling system. This is a fully automated bottle labeling system and computer that will be program to label individual runs as needed. The labeling and computer systems will incorporate a high industry standard computer with Windows 2000 operating system that has appropriate labeling software. 9. Requirement is this machine will come equipped with a rotary accumulating table for finished Bottles for final check. 10. Training will be the responsibility of the manufacturer.
