Description

This position is located in the Department of Labor (DOL), Career Assistance Center (CAC). Contract Requirements: 1. Professional training curriculum development skills. 2. Career development and coaching experience. 3. Masters in either Psychology, Social Work or Education/Guidance Counseling. 4. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Desktop Publishing and the Internet. 5. Myers Briggs and Strong Interest Inventory Assessment Qualifications and/or certification. 6. Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills. 7. Team Player. 8. Minimal travel to present a workshop may be required. (Costs incurred when travel is necessary to present workshops are to be paid by the incumbent and billed to the U.S. Department of Labor. This contract does not include travel between the incumbent's residence and the SNAFC. Scope of Work: 1. Provide professional training in a variety of common needs and career development areas for employees and managers. 2. Develop workshops tailored to CAC customer needs, utilizing professional training curriculum development skills. 3. Provide assistance to CAC staff in the administrative area which may include answering phones, preparing materials, duplication of manuals, classroom setup, etc. 4. Assist CAC Director with program marketing activities, as assigned. 5. Provide assistance in the development of the CAC Quarterly Report.
