Description

This notice provides updated information regarding the NASA/GSFC Program Analysis and Control acquisition. This acquisition is set-aside for firms under the 8(a) business program. The NAIS code is 541330. The size standard is 20M. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated period of performance will be five years. This will be a performance based contract. NASA/GSFC plans to issue a complete draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) via the internet, on or about January 4, 2002. Comments and questions will be due 14 days following the release of the complete DRFP. The DRFP has been released incrementally. At this time, the draft statement of work remains available for industry comment and questions on the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunities home page. Prospective offerors are invited to submit comments or questions to : Klaus D. Sexton at Klaus.D.Sexton.1@gsfc.nasa.gov. The DRFP is not a solicitation for proposals. Do not submit a proposal at this time. The final RFP will be issued on or about February 1, 2002. This solicitation/synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to the identified point of contact. The DRFP, final RFP and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 2000 format and will reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
