Description

MODIFICATION: Add the following qualification criteria to the paragraph entitled "Description" to announcement 247-0095-02 Repair Elevator Controls & Door Operators: "To be eligible for an award the Elevator contractor shall (1) currently and regularly engaged in modernization of elevator equipment as one of their principal products; (2)installer has technical qualifications of at least five years of successful experience, trained supervisory and installation personnel, and facilities to install and/or modernize elevator equipment specified herein; and (3) Proposed Contractor shall submit a list of two or more prior hospital installations where all the elevator equipment he proposes to furnish on this project has performed satisfactorily together under conditions of normal use. The list shall include projects that have been in operation for a period of not less than two years proceeding the date of these specifications. Include the names and addresses of the Medical Center and the names of the Medical Center Administrators. This procurement is solicited pursuant to FAR Supart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All other inforamtion remains the same.
