Description

Provide materials and services necessary to Paint and Repair the Potable Water Tower at the U. S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown, Yorktown, VA. The work includes, but is not limited to, rehabilitation of a 150,000 gallon elevated potable water storage tank. Work includes structural repairs to the concrete foundation, the balcony floor plates, the balcony railing and access point, the tower bracing system, and the roof. A new overflow discharge pipe shall be installed. The ladder systems (tower, balcony, and roof) shall be replaced with a new system that meets all OSHA standards. The tank?s cathodic protection system shall receive minor repairs and a thorough inspection, and some loose electrical wiring shall be secured. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 6064 and Drawing No. 6064 (Sheets 1 ? 16). All work shall be completed within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed.
