Description

The Department of State (DOS) intends to negotiate and award sole source contracts to the following incumbent contractors, Victory Van Lines, 950 South Pickett Street, Alexandria, VA 22304; Greenmount Moving and Storage, 400 Commerce Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772; Security Storage Company of Washington, 1701 Florida Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20009; Paxton Van Lines, Inc., 5300 Port Royal Road, Springfield, VA 22151; Pullen Moving Company, 15461 Featherstone Road, P.O. Box 4427, Woodbridge, VA 22194; Hilldrup Moving and Storage, 4022 Jefferson Davis Highway, P.O. Box 1290, Stafford, Virginia 22555-1290; to provide for the continuation of weighing, placement into temporary and or permanent storage, export packing, delivery to pier, and delivery, unpacking and all related services, including servicing of appliances, to residences for the household and personal effects arriving in and departing from the Washington, D. C. Metropolitan area. The current contract will be modified to provide for the initial period of six months with a six-month extension commencing January 1, 2002. The purpose for this action is to provide continuity of services for the Department while a competitive solicitation is awarded. Copies of the sole source documents to will not be available*****
