Description

FISC Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington has a requirement for the National Naval Medical Center -- Lab Med Department. FISCNORDETWASH: . intends to award a sole source. The ordering period subject to availability of funds shall be for one (1) base year and four (4) one year options, to Gambo BCT Inc. for the Extended Life Platelet (ELP)/LRS Kits used to collect aphersis product. . Gambo BCT Inc. is the only source capable of providing the apheresis kits to work in conjunction with the Gambro BCT Inc. LRS Chamber with Sharps Protection equipment. This equipment is currently owned by National Naval Medical Center Lab Med Department. The Apheresis Kits will be used with two (2) arm platelet collection procedure and to work in conjunction with Cobe spectra Plasma Separator equipment currently owned by the facility. The subject vendor is the only known source capable of meeting this requirement. NOTE: This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the Navy's requirement prior to 2:00PM, 14 December 2001.
