Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size and classification. The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) and 377th Medical Group wants to enter into a cooperative venture for the purpose of providing an adequate, safe supply of blood for the community and for patient care by the NMVAHCS. Blood is a community and national medical resource and frequently critical to patient care. Concerns are requested to give written notification (including telephone number for a point of contact) to Pam Hayes at the procuring office listed in this notice by 12/28/01. It is the intent of NMVAHCS to negotiate with United Blood Services for award of this contract as a sole source. Although no solicitation is available at this time, concerns responding to this notice may request a copy of the solicitation should one become available.
