Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to enter into a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole-source basis Radio Research Instrument Co., Inc, 584 North Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06704-3506. Market Research found Radio Research Instrument Co. Inc. to be the only activity to have the specific surrogate radar required to meet objectives. This requirement is for two surrogate radar systems. One RRI P/N 2-33-XS, to consists of a mechanical structure and would include an 84 inch reflector with simulated feed and an 11.8 foot long, 48 inch high reflector with simulated feed and waveguide run. This reflector would be composite material, metalized for reflectivity. The second structure, RRI P/N 2-33-XSM, is physically similar to the first one with the exception that the lower reflector would be 11.8 feet long and 36 inches high, with a metal reflecto r including the backup structure. Both units are to be furnished with indicator lights on the top and bottom, which would be illuminated when the power supplies/electronics are operational. Units shall be painted desert sand camouflage. Delivery shall be within 60 days after receipt of order, and shall be delivered FOB Destination to:Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Receiving Officer/Bldg. 125, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Interested parties other than Radio Research Instrument Co. Inc. must be able to demonstrate in writing by 14 December 2001, their capability to provide the requested items.
