Description

The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Camp Pendleton, intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price Contract, to Robertson Aviation (a small business) of Mesa Arizona. This sole source procurement is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This purchase will be made using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of the Test Program for Commercial Items (FAR 13.5). The Government intends to procure two (2) Tactical Bulk Fuel Delivery Systems for the CH53E aircraft. This is a three tank, internal refueling system designed to extend the flight range or to be utilized in the refueling of other equipment. This system is designed specifically for the refueling points of the CH53E, and has been approved by the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP). This is not a request for quotation; however, re sponses received before 12:00 pm (PDT) on 5 December 2001 in order to be considered. Interested parties alternatives must be approved by NAVICP, Philadelphia for technical capability and safety of flight. The SIC Code for this procurement is: 336413 with a size standard of 1000 employees, and a Federal Supply Classification Code of 1680. The solicitation number for the procurement is M00681-01-T-0044.
