Description

The government intends to acquire contractor services to provide software changes requests (SCR) for the integration of a Block 3 Multi-Mission Advanced Tactical Terminal (MATT) into the Integrated Avionic System (IAS) installed on MH-47E and MH-60K Special Operations Aircraft (SOA) on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended source, Lockheed Martin of Owego, NY, is the only developer and integrator of the IAS software. The testing period available for this work is expected to be 7 January 2002 through 8 March 2002. A time and materials procurement under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated. The government does not possess the current documentation to allow full and open competition, therefore specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement cannot be furnished. This is a DO-A1 rated order. The solicitation number is USZA95-02-T-0007. The North American Industrial Classification code is 336413; the business size is 1000. Note: Contractors must be registered in IBOP in order to be able to submit a quote. Quotations for this solicitation will be accepted only through IBOP or by e-mail (if IBOP is not available by the due date). The request for quotation will be issued on 16 December 2001. The request for quote document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01.
