Description

Single award term contract for NASA/Kennedy Space Center, FL. Beginning February 1, 2002, and ending January 31, 2003, with possible option years. Quality Level III is required. These specifications cover the production of a newsletter-type publication requiring such operations as electronic prepress/film-making, printing, binding, and distribution. Spaceport News will be ordered bi-weekly (26 issues/year). Quantity ranges from 12,000 to 20,000 -- average 13,000. Page count is 6 (30%) or 8 (70%). Trim size: 9-1/2 x 12". Fold, inset, and trim three sides to 9-1/2 x 12". Approximately 2,250 copies fold again to 9-1/2 x 6" and require a mailing tab. Deliver f.o.b. destination to the Kennedy Space Center, FL. Government furnished material will be available by 1:00 p.m. each Tuesday (the week of publication) and complete production and distribution must be made by 10:00 a.m. Thursday (of that same week).
