Description

The VA Roseburg Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Mercy Medical Center, Roseburg, Oregon, for Outpatient Laboratory, Radiology (technical component only), Cardiac Rehabilitation and Functional Capacity testing services. NAICS:622110. The contractor must have facilities within a 25-mile radius of the City limits of Roseburg. The Government believes that Mercy Medical Center is the only provider that will satisfy the agency requirements. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer, VA Roseburg Healthcare System, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, Oregon 97470, within seven (7) days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the above listed address or via fax to (541) 440-1276. Responses received will be evaluated however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
