- Description
- The Coast Guard seeks to award one contract for the procurement of overhaul services for HC130 Propeller Blades for a two-year base period and one (1) one-year option period, not to exceed a total of three years. The following are the components and their corresponding yearly estimated quantities: NSN 1610-00-482-7947, P/N A7111D-2, Propeller Blade, 136 each estimated for the base period; NSN 1610-00-482-7947, P/N A7111D-2, Propeller Blade, 48 each estimated for the first option period. Overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with the U.S. Air Force Technical Order 3H1-18-3 and Hamilton Sunstrand Service Bulletins ASB 54H60-61-A134 and ASB 54H60-61-A132. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures specified in FAR Part 12. Offerors must possess a current OEM certification or a U.S. Air Force certification to perform overhaul and service on the items listed above and must provide proof of these certifications with their proposals. Offerors not possessing either of these certifications must provide proof of subcontracting agreement with an approved source with their proposal. Offerors must possess the capability to perform blade cold rolling, thrust washer repair, blade bending and retwisting, re-shotpeening and all other blade overhaul process described in the specifications listed herein.
