Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center services for male and female offenders in the Beaumont, Texas area (Jefferson County). Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the BOP Statement of Work (SOW), Community Corrections Center (CCC) dated November 2001. A firm-fixed requirements type contract is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for CCC services are 21,900 inmate days for the two year base and 10,950 inmate days for option years one, two and three. The RFP issue date is on or about 1/4/02 and the estimated closing date is 3/4/02. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
