Description

The F-16 Logistics Operations Division, Avionics Section is hosting an Industry day on December 12, 2001 at Hill AFB to discuss the future procurement of a Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (F3I) replacement for the existing Aft Seat Head-Up Display (HUD) Monitor (ASHM) (P/N:16VE386-1, 16VE386-2, 16VE386-3, 16VE514-3). The Air Force industry day is to disseminate government intentions and expectations to potential contractors participating in a competitive, Best Value, acquisition for a product to replace the current ASHM. This requirement would entail design of a new ASHM and manufacture of up to 250 units. The product should include a contractor warranty. This is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
