Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm fixed price Order under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0425 for both the modification of Group II U.S. Navy E-2C Aircraft No. A141 (BuNo. 163849) to the Hawkeye 2000 Configuration and the performance of Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) on the aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this Order on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. NGC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and as such is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the fleet's operational needs.
