Description

Snopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the Shiloh National Military Park Project NPS-SHIL 502(1) in Hardin County, Tennessee. The project consists of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of portions of Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road, Pittsburg Landing Road, Hagy Field Road, Brown's Landing Road, Peabody Road, Eastern Corinth Road, Reconnoitering Road, Sherman Road, and intersections. The project also includes reconfiguring the Visitor Center Parking Area, rehabilitating various parking areas, and other miscellaneous work. The work includes clearing and grubbing, removal of asphalt and concrete pavement, roadway excavation, roadway obliteration, placement of aggregate base, pavement milling, asphalt paving (base, wedge and level, and surface), reinforced concrete pavement, sealing joints and cracks, 3.6m span x 1.2m rise precast RC box culvert, construction of sidewalks (brick and concrete), guardrail, stone masonry headwalls, erosion control mats, construction and permanent traffic control, and other work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled for issue on December 12, 2001. Bids will be due on or about January 15, 2002.
