Description

This is a modification to the synopsis originally posted in the CBDNET on 19 April 2001. The solicitation number is changed from "N00604-01-T-A679" to "N00604-02-R-A004". The anticipated period of performance is changed from "01 Jul 2001 through 30 Jun 2002, plus four (4) one-year options" to "1 Feb 2002 through 31 Jan 2003, plus one (1) one-year option. The anticipated solicitation issue date is changed from "on or around 30 April 2001" to "on or around 5 December 2001". Proposals will be evaluated on a best value basis using the following: technical, past performance and price. Once initial offers have been evaluated for technical and past performance, and the Contracting Officer has established the competitive range, the Government shall use the REVERSE AUCTION method (an on-line downward pricing tool) to negotiate offerors' final prices. Those offerors within the competitive range will be allowed to participate in the REVERSE AUCTION and will be provided instructions on the REVERSE AUCTION procedures. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award to other than the lowest priced offeror in accordance with the best value criteria stated in the solicitation. All other information publicized in the original synopsis is correct.
