Description

Services of an Architectural/Engineer (A/E) for design to consolidate the Medical Center's five (5) energy management systems/platforms into a single system which will provide automatic control of the facility's HVAC systems. Project will include replacement of existing HVAC control systems and preparation of phasing plan to accomplish in separate and distinct segments. Design is to include preparation of complete specifications, drawings, and construction cost estimates per lastest VA guidelines. Drawings shall be accomplished on "CAD" and be compatible with VA Auto Cad system format software, Auto Cad Release 2000. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Completion time is 120 calendar days from contract award. See numbered Note 24. NAICS Number is 541310 architectural services applies to this procurement. This solicitation is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656). Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 25 miles radius of the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Interested firms should submit two copies of appropriate data as described in numbered Note 24 by close of business December 26, 2001. Award is subject tot the availability of funds.
