NOTE: To order plans and specifications, please fax your request on your company letterhead to 816-823-2284 accompanied by an original signature. To be a valid request, the requester must also include one of the following forms of identification: (1) Company's current business license; (2) a valid Dun and Bradstreet number; or (3) a valid state driver's license.=20 Invitation for Bid Notice for Indefinite Quantity Asbestos Abatement contract, for the States of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Job PCN: RMO25010. IFB o/a December 11, 2001. Time for completion: 365 days after notice to proceed. Project involves: furnishing all necessary supervision, labor, parts, tools, materials and equipment and appurtenances (except as may otherwise be provided for in these specifications) to perform the work described herein. Contractor will perform work when authorized by properly executed Delivery Orders (GSA Form 300) which will be issued from time to time for various quantities and types of asbestos work provided for in this contract. The work authorized under this contract shall be performed in the States of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, but only at Government-owned buildings or Government-leased space where GSA has either repair responsibility or authority. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bodily injury insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks. There are two one-year options for this project. This procurement is offered on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The applicable NAICS code is 233320, size standard $27.5 million. Prior to award of the contract, the successful bidder (if a large business) will be required to submit and have GSA approve a small business subcontracting plan. Contract award will be contingent upon receipt and approval of a subcontracting plan, in accordance with Public Law 95-507, to provide the maximum practical opportunities for Small Businesses, Small Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and by Women-Owned Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency within the limits of this announcement.=20
