Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source two-year requirements contract with Pacific Instruments, Inc., 4080 Pike Lane, Concord, CA 94520; for Upgrading of Amplifier Digitizer Recorder Equipment. The following three items will be upgraded: 1) 9355D Transducer Amplifier, estimated quantity 129 each. 2) R93-020-M Master Enclosure, estimated quantity 7 each. 3) R93-020-S Slave Enclosure, estimated quantity 8 each. These upgrades will i nclude diagnostic service inspections by Pacific Instruments, Inc. who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and has the proprietary design and manufacturing information needed to accomplish the hardware/software upgrades that will form, fit and fun ction with existing Amplifier Digitizer Recorder Equipment currently in use at USAYPG. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13 this acquisition will be issued under the Simplified Acquisitio n Procedures (SAP) for a Commercial Item. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 33422 with a size standard of 750 Employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide this product, then you must respond by 5 December 2001, 2 p.m. MST.
