DESCRIPTION: TEST ADAPTER APPLICABLE TO THE B-1B AIRCRAFT. NSN: 4940-01-186-2860GG, PART NUMBER: 742-1, DIM: 12?X12?X10?; MATERIAL: METAL; FUNCTION: PROVIDE SWITCHES AND TEST POINTS FOR TESTING VOLTAGE AND CONTINUITY OF THE EJECTOR RACK. BASIC QUANTITY IS 6 EACH AND OPTIONS I-IV: 1-2 EACH PER OPTION PERIOD. APPROXIMATE SOLICITATION DATE IS DECEMBER 6, 2001. THE RESPONSE DATE IS DUE JANUARY 7, 2002. A DELIVERY DATE OF 6 EA IS JANUARY 2003. AN ESTIMATED AWARD DATE IS APRIL 30, 2002. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO THE WEB AT www.fedbizopps.gov TO: GENERAL DYNAMICS OTS (AEROSPACE), INC., 11441 WILLOWS ROAD N.E., P.O. BOX 97009, REDMOND, WA 98073-9709 AND THE BOEING COMPANY, 2401 E. WARDLOW RD., LONG BEACH, CA 90807. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES SOLICITED MAY SUBMIT A BID, PROPOSAL, OR QUOTATION WHICH WILL BE CONSIDERED. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
