Modification to synopsis posted October 31, 2001. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to negotiate on an other than competitive basis a firm fixed price IDIQ delivery order contract for Automatic Activation Devices manufactured by FXC Corporation, Santa Ana, CA. Revise Maximum Quantities from 500 AAD?s (Part Number 811-00487) to 700 AAD?s with stepladder pricing. The Government does not guarantee maximum quantities. NAWCWD will solicit this requirement under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. Term of contract: three years. Delivery: 270 days from date of order(s) with early and partial deliveries acceptable. FOB: Destination. FXC Corporation developed the AAD?s and retains proprietary rights. These AAD?s will be provided as GFM to SEI in Asheville, NC for the use in the manufacture of E-2C Parachute Survival Ensembles for the Thin-Pack Parachute Program. These items have been qualified by the Thin-Pack Project Office for incorporation into the E-2C Thin-Pack PSE. Anticipated date for release of RFP N68936-02-R-0013: Nov. 30, 2001. Anticipated closing date: Dec. 10, 2001. Anticipated award date: Dec 20, 2001. RFP will be posted at https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/.
