Description

The purpose of this modification is to advise that it is anticipated that solicitation N00140-01-R-G605 for the Facsimile Drill Rifles for the NJROTC Program (CNET OTEJ) will be posted to the FED BIZ OPPS web address at www.fedbizopps.gov and the FISC Norfolk web address at www.nor.fisc.navy.mil by 6 December 2001. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 13 December 2001 at 10:00 am at FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. Attendees must submit name of attendee(s) and name of company at least 5 days before the date of the conference and may be submitted upon receipt of this notice. The number of attendees shall be no greater than two (2) per company. Information should be submitted to FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Avenue, Building 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, Attn: Allison K. Baten, Code 02P21X, FAX: (215) 697-5418, E-mail: Allison_K_Baten@phil.fisc.navy.mil. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to Rocco D. Siravo, Contracting Officer, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Bldg. 2B, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083 by 12 December 2001. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. All prospective offerors are advised that, at the conclusion of the conference, unless this solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. In the event that the solicitation is not issued prior to 13 December 2001, the conference will still be held but will become a pre-solicitation conference vice pre-proposal conference. This requirement was originally synopsized in the Commerce Business Daily on 4 September 2001 by submission number 50W6K5.
