Description

The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, has a requirement for a maintenance contract to Pitney Bowes on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Pitney Bowes equipment is located in the following states: OK, CA, LA, TX, CO, VA, and AK. The following is a list of Pitney Bowes equipment currently owned by Minerals Management Service: 5# scales, 10# scales, 15# scales, 30# scales, 100# scales, meters, feeders, mail machines, printers, platform scales, signature pads, report printers, laser printers, label printers, scanners, softguard, software, CPU, integrated modules, paragons, power stacks, stackers, and interfaces. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. All expressions of interest shall be emailed to terry.carroll2@mms.gov within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. This date will not be extended. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
