Description

The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement and intends to issue a modification under contract N00019-00-C-0119 with Lockheed Martin Corporation for the procurement of twenty-two (22) Enhanced General Purpose Controllers (EGPC), a component of the AN/AYK-23 developed under Contract N00019-96-C-0129. This action will be negotiated on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements) Lockheed Martin is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and supplier of the AN/AYK-23 (V). Lockheed Martin is the only source that possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data to provide the requirements in the required timeframe. See number Note: 22.
