Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 intends to issue a contract on a sole-source basis to Rolls Royce Commercial Marine, Inc., 200 James Drive West, St. Rose, LA 70087. The contract will be for repair/maintenance services for the KaMeWa waterjet propulsion systems installed on the MK V Special Operations Craft and the Navy Special Warfare Rigid Inflatable Boats. Repair/maintenance actions will be those that are beyond the capability of the designated government repair activity to perform. These waterjet propulsion systems are commercial items covered by commercial warranties, which would be voided should repair/maintenance actions be obtained from other than a Rolls Royce authorized source. The repair/maintenance services will be identical to those provided by Rolls Royce to their commercial customers. Repair/maintenance actions will take place at both SBU-12 on the West Coast and SBU-20 on the East Coast. Limited repair/maintenance actions may also be performed at SBU-22 at Stennis Space Center, MS. Rolls Royce has purchased KaMeWa America, Inc., 106 Park Place, Suite 200, Covington, LA 70433 and is therefore the only source for repair/maintenance of these systems. A five year firm-fixed price time and materials type contract is anticipated. NAICS: 33271; size standard is 500 employees. Note 22 applies. No telephone requests will be accepted.
