Description

The US Army, TACOM-ARDEC intends to award on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price requirement to High Performance Technologies, Incorporated (HPTi), 4121 Wilson Blvd, Reston, Virginia (Lagasca, Allen E (AMSTA-AR-FSA-T). This is a follow-on contract action previously awarded to HPTi via technical design competition. TACOM-ARDEC has initiated an Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) program to develop an armament and ammunition system concept to satisfy both direct and indirect fire functions. Technical services are required to support the MRAAS ATD program. Support includes Data Architecture and Management, System Analysis and Design and Systems Development and Implementation. Contractor shall design, develop, manage and administer MRAAS database systems (Lagasca, Allan, AMSTAR-FSA-T) utilizing Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements Systems (DOORS) software. Contractor shall apply real world experience with database technologies. Contractor shall develop mature processes for maintaining and evolving database systems. Contractor shall work with program IPT's to (Lagasca, Allan, AMSTA-AR-FSA-T) define system requirements and support the development of a system design. Contractor will support IPT's to set criteria for making program decisions and quantify expected benefits, assess new technologies and develop cost benefit analyses. Contractor shall support activities associated with the development and transition of new computing technologies. The contractor shall provide system integration computing technologies. The contractor shall provide system integration services including software development, hardware design and integration. Note 22 and 26 apply.
