Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center -- San Diego intends to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract with cost plus fixed fee pricing to QinetiQ of Farnborough, Hants, United Kingdom (formerly the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA)). The procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The contract will provide for research and development of short pulse dye lasers. The contract is a continuation of work conducted under contract N66001-01-D-6010, which was awarded to DERA using full and open competition. The anticipated period of performance includes a base effort of two years and three further one year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See numbered Notes 22 and 26.
