Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego intends to purchase commercial software licenses for Object Oriented Analysis and Design Tools (OOADT), based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the Real-Time Unified Modeling Language (RT UML). These tools directly support the adaptability, formal engineering approach, documentation, analysis, design, and programming required for today's system developments. They also contribute to testing, documentation, and perhaps most important, communication amongst the different members of a developmental team. In addition to the software licenses, the contemplated contract will provide maintenance and upgrades to the software as well as a variety of training modules. At this time, the Government is soliciting comments from industry regarding the applicability of the Statement of Work and Contract Line Item structure.
