- This will be a Firm-fixed price contract for purchase of the following item: CARA Receiver Transmitter, Applicable to APN-232, NSN 5841-01-349-9175, P/N 8010000788-1, Quantity: 10 EA. Generates, receives and tracks radar pulses. Dim: 3.5" X 6.3" X 8.5". Delivery: Two per month beginning April 2003. The approximate issue date will 6 December 2001 with the approximate response date of 8 January 2002. The solicitation will be placed on the web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels.
