- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; pr oposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is F31610-02-Q-0087 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and i ncorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. This acquisition is being considered for 100 percent small business set-aside. Interested small business concerns should ind icate interest to the Contracting Office, in writing, as early as possible, but no later than 10 calendar days of this notic e. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is _339113_. The Small Busines s size standard is _500 employees. This procurement is to purchase the following items: Line Item 0001 Qty 22 Each, Reflector Level A Vapor Protective Suits. MFG Kappler P/N KAP-46560. Must comply with NFPA 1991, 3-1.2.1: Each Vapor-protective ensemble meets the basic requirements of NFPA 1991, Standard on vapor-protective ensembles for hazardous m aterials emergencies, 2000 Edition, and all 3 following stated requirements: 1. Chemical and biological terrorism incidents for the following chemical warfare agents: Cyanogen Chloride, Lewisite, Sarin, V-Agent, Sulfur Mustard, distilled. 2. Limite d chemical flash fire protection for escape only in the event of a chemical flash fire. 3. Liquified gas protection. Items 1-3 must be checked YES in each appropriate label block. The technical data package contains information on chemicals and sp ecific chemical mixtures for which this suit is certified. Consult the technical data package and manufacturer?s instruction s before use. DO NOT REMOVE THIS LABEL. Line Item 0002 Qty 1 Each, Pressure Test Kit for Reflector Vapor Protection Suit. MFG Kappler P/N KAP-99971 Line Item 0003 Qty 25 Pair, Haz-Proof Boots, 5 each of the following sizes; 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. MFG Tingley P/N TIN-82330.
