Description

FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. This is an Unrestricted procurement, large and small businesses may submit bids. The due date for receipt of bids is an estimated date and is subject to change. The actual date and time for receipt of bids will be specified in th e solicitation document. The solicitation document will be available on or about 21 November 2001. The new North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 234990 with a size standard of $17.0 million. Contractor must be regis tered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration prior to award of this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The work consists of Maintenance Dredging in Georgetown Entrance Channel and Lower Win yah Bay, Georgetown Harbor, Georgetown County, South Carolina. Dredging of approximately 629,400 CY of unclassified material. Disposal of all dredged material will be in the ocean disposal site. The work includes providing a disposal area report and comply ing with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. The estimated value of the proposed project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be issued only as an Electronic Bid Set (CD-ROM format) at no cost.
