- Description
- This notice is notify all interested certified 8(a) concerns of solicitation numbered DAAG60-02-R-0002 for the purpose of providing a broad range maintenance, repair and minor construction work. Proposed procurement will result in an Indefinite Delivery-I ndefinite Quantity-Requirements type contract. The Government s intent is to award two separate requirements contracts using two solicitations, to satisfy the Government s requirement under the Job Order Contract. One solicitation (DAAG60-02-R-0002) has been set aside for a Competitive 8(a) solicitation, the second for a Full and Open solicitation (DAAG60-02-R-0003). The Contractors shall be required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to accomplish the multidisciplinary work . Task Order shall be issued normally ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. At a minimum each contractor is guaranteed $100,000 per year of the contract. All additional task orders shall be awarded based on the Contractor s positive past performance on prev ious work provided under their contract. The contracts will not exceed a cumulative of $8 million dollars per year, and shall not exceed $40 million for the contract duration. The Contract Performance period is twelve-month base period with four (4) twel ve-month option periods. Work shall vary in size and complexity and will include tasks in a variety of trades to include carpentry, excavating, interior and exterior electrical, plumbing, painting and concrete masonry. All work to be performed at the Uni ted States Military Academy, West Point, NY and at all properties owned and operated by USMA. For the purpose of this solicitation, no distinction is made between a formally organized entities and project-specific associations. Both are to be referred t o as the offeror . This acquisition is 100% set aside for 8(a) Concern under the Small Business Program. The NAICS code is 233320 with a $27.5 million size standard. The solicitation will be available on or about December 15, 2001, with an estimated clo sing date of January 15, 2001.
