- Description
- Contractor shall provide all equipment, personnel, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various construction and repair activities. Work will consist of boundary line clearing, bush hogging, disking, culvert installation, fencing, and rental of equipment (bulldozer, backhoe, front end loader, etc.). The terms of the contract will consist of a one-year base period and four one-year options. Estimated Construction Cost Range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation will be issued on or about 05 Dec 2001. Proposal due date on or about 09 Jan 2002. Contractor's may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet at the following Internet address: http://ebs.swf.usace.army.mil. Notification of amendments will be through the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry website at http://acquisition.army.mil/default.htm to view other business opportunities. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. Small Business size standard is $27,500,000. This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation. Offers from all qualified business concerns may submit offers. If a LARGE business firm intends to submit a proposal, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan. Fort Worth District's goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount be placed with small businesses (including small disadvantaged and woman-owned businesses); 9.1% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with small disadvantaged businesses; 5.0% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with woman-owned businesses; 2.0% subcontracted amount be placed with historically black colleges our universities/minority institutions (where applicable); and 1.0% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with HUB Zone businesses
