Description
This requirement is being issued by Gov.Works under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. USAMMA has a requirement to provide interpreting services support for the hearing impaired for one of the key employees working on the Application Development team. In order to support this requirement an Interpreting Service Contract must be established as soon as possible. The following is a list of requirements: 1. Contractor must be able to translate and have understanding of Information Technology terminology. 2. Potentially provide services as needed up to 2-3 times per week as per a prearranged schedule. 3. Support a minimum of 300 hours per year. 4. Support an estimated max of 2496 hours per year of interpreting. 5. Required service per day, when scheduled, will be for a minimum of 1 hour and not to exceed 8 hours. The period of performance for this effort is one base year, with three option years. Contract award shall be made to the responsible Offeror whose offer, in conforming to this RFQ, provides an overall best value to the Government, technical evaluation factors and cost considered. References to evaluate past performance must be provided. The Government's objective is to obtain the highest technical quality considered necessary to achieve the project objectives, with a realistic and reasonable cost. Technical evaluation factors are more important than cost; however, between proposals that are evaluated as technically equal in quality, cost will become a major consideration in selecting the successful Offeror.
