- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order on a non competitive basis to Talaris Systems, Inc for hardware maintenance as follows: Part number T1794-MAINT-G, gold one year hardware maintenance for twenty-two (22) print stations, Part number T1794+PDS 960-Maint-G, Gold one year 0n-site hardware maintenance for one (1) T1794 print station plus PSI 960 (PDL Controller), and T2590-Maint_G, Gold one year on site hardware maintenance for seven (7) T1590 print stations. Gold Hardware Maintenance Contract includes coverage Monday through Friday, next business day response, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, all parts including print station controllers, labor, travel expenses, one preventative servicing per year/per print station specifications, diagnostic support service by telephone, free firmware releases during contract period; and a 5% discount off toner purchased in single or carton quantities. All responsible sources that can meet and provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, request for such shall be considered non-responsive. The award is being issued on a non-competitive basis because this contractor is the developer, manufacturer and provider of maintenance for the Talaris printers used for printing for Image. This contractor also offers free firmware upgrades for the print stations (firmware is the software that acts to control the hardware). See Notes 1 and 22
