Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron (89CONS), Andrews AFB Maryland, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract to Main Building Maintenance, Inc., 1017 North Main Street, Suite 200, San Antonio TX 78212, to acquire maintenance and repair services for the Summerfield Military Family Housing community, Landover, MD. As funds are not presently available for this acquisition the solicitation will be issued under FAR clause 52.232-18 ? Availability of Funds. The resultant contract will be a three- month period. The NAIC code is 235990 ($11.5). Main Building Maintenance, Inc will provide management services, cleaning services, appliance maintenance repair, and replacement, standard change of occupancy maintenance, and limited grounds maintenance. This procurement is being made under the authority of 2304c(1) and Far clause 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 89th CONS anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about 20 November 2001, with anticipated award by 27 November 2001 and contract start of 01 December 2001.=20
