Description

The FBI seeks to obtain quotations for maintenance coverage for its Bell & Howell Flat Bed Scanners, seven (7) Model 1000 & five (5) Model 2000. All scanners are located within the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC. The following are minimum requirements for the maintenance coverage: 1) On-site repair service (Mon-Fri, 9-5), 2) Next day response time when service is required, 3) Parts, Labor, and Travel included, and, 4) Monthly preventive maintenance upon request. The initial maintenance agreement will commence at the time of award (estimated at 12/1/2001) and end 9/30/2002. The FBI requires unilateral options to renew on an annual basis for four additional years. Additionally, the FBI requires a unilateral priced option to add a minimum of three and a maximum of ten additional scanners of the same models, at the quoted price, as their warranty expires. Background information is required for all personnel having limited access into FBI space. They will be required to complete forms FD-258, FD-316, FD-484 & FD-816. Personnel may be fingerprinted at their local police department or at FBIHQ. No access will be allowed unless clearance is received.
