Description

The Army requires a contract for UNPACKING, UNCRATING, DELIVERY AND LOCAL DRAYAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, FORT STEWART AND HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, GEORGIA. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related services. Work to be performed shall be those services in t he schedule awarded to the contractor. Performance shall be according to the standards and directives listed in this solicitation. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid that will be considered. The SIC is 4212; the NAICS is 484210. S ervices shall start 1 April 2002 or within 10 calendar days after contract award, whichever is later, and continue through 31 December 2002. This contract contains options to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Bi d opening time and date will be established and placed on the solicitation at time of issue. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.
