Description

The Strategic Systems Programs intends to enter into this agreement with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space (LMMS). In order to successfully execute this effort, the contractor must have prior experience and expertise with the TRIDENT I and TRIDENT II missile systems. For over 30 years, Lockheed has been the designer, developer, and sole producer of multiple generations of the FBM/SWS equipment and is considered the only contractor properly suited to maintain and repair U.S. and U.K. owned Fleet Ballistic Missile/Strategic Weapons
