Description

This is to modify the description, which was transmitted on November 14, 2001. The following synopsis is the correct description for RFQ 69D-074-02. The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide all labor, materials, equipment, travel, parts and supervision for full maintenance, repairs and emergency service for 2 elevators located at VA Hines Information Technology Center (ITC). Anticipated period of performance is February 1,2002 through January 31 2003 with four (4), one-year option renewal periods, at the Government's discretion. A site inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Hines Information Technology Center. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is February 1, 2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about November 19, 2001. This solicitation is issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 235950. Size standard is $11.5 million. Non-personal services.
