Description

Argonne National Laboratory is a research and development facility funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and operated by the University of Chicago. Argonne has an annual operating budget of approximately $475 million and employs over 5,000 people in Illinois and Idaho. The work force includes approximately 2,300 non-exempt employees, of which approximately 700 belong to one of ten represented unions. Argonne is seeking information on a Web-based Time and Attendance system that will allow an employee to complete a timecard via the Web, a badge reader, or some other method(s). The system must be compatible with multiple platforms and with the latest versions of standard web browsers; must be able to handle complex payroll rules; and must provide electronic management reporting capabilities. Argonne is requesting information, statements of interest, and technical qualifications from companies specializing in Time and Attendance systems.
