Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN-SD) intends to award a sole source contract to Video Display Corporation (VDC) of Cape Canaveral, Florida, under the authority of FAR 6.302 for the manufacture and delivery of 14 COTS-based, fully ruggedized, large-screen video display projectors ("PT-563.UYQ Projection Plotting Unit") suitable for use in shipboard mission-critical applications. VDC has proprietary rights to the manufacturing, tooling and data associated with the PT-563/UYQ. This will be a firm fixed price contract with estimated delivery dates from December, 2001 through May, 2002. The North American Industry Classification System code for this effort is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750. See Note 22.
