Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to contract for the completion of the DD(X) Systems Design including the design, development, fabrication and testing of Engineering Development Models. This contract will be the continuation of the DD 21 Phase I and II efforts which were performed by the Competing Teams under Agreement N00024-98-9-2300. The Offeror that is awarded this contract will design, manufacture and test various engineering development models in support of a DD(X) Critical Design Review. It is anticipated that the Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on 30 November 2001. The unclassified portions of the DD(X) RFP will be available via the NAVSEA web page at http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil. *****
