This synopsis is modified to increase the requirement quantity from 9 each to 15 each and note solicitation amendment issue and response dates. This is a SOLE SOURCE firm fixed-price requirement for fifteen (15) each Rudder Pedal Steering Disconnect Assemblies, NSN 1680-00-824-2874UC, P/N: 4C92003-101C or 5C5779-1. Applicable to C-5 aircraft. DIM: Approximately 7.5 inches x 5.0 inches. MATL: Aluminum with steel sub-components. FUNC: Disables rudder pedal steering during operation of the nose steering wheel. DEL: 31 December 2002. The approximate RFP amendment issue date will be 7 December 2001 with the approximate response date of 19 December 2001.
